Dr. Kaya Kupferschmidt studied mathematics at the University of Frankfurt from 1995 to 2001. During this time, he earned his living at the Fraunhofer Institute for Graphical Data Processing in Darmstadt and later for more than 2.5 years as a game developer at Neon Studios in Frankfurt. After graduating in 2001 with a thesis in the field of stochastics on the decomposition of Levy processes, Kaya Kupferschmidt received her doctorate in stochastics from the Department of Mathematics in Frankfurt in 2002-2004 on the topic “Decomposition of Markov Processes with the Help of Regular Functions”.
Since 2005 Kaya Kupferschmidt works as an independent external consultant in various roles and areas. His clients include large companies from industry and finance as well as several start-ups in the IT sector.
